Membatasi user akses kedalam satu namespace kubernetes

Kamu dapat membatasi akses kedalam sebuah namespace dengan seriveaccount dan rolebinding.

  • Buat Namespace, contoh disini adalah wordpress.
kubectl create namespace wordpress
  • Buat user (serviceaccount), role, dan rolebinding.
---
apiVersion: v1
kind: ServiceAccount
metadata:
  name: wordpress-admin
  namespace: wordpress

---
kind: Role
apiVersion: rbac.authorization.k8s.io/v1beta1
metadata:
  name: wordpress-admin-full-access
  namespace: wordpress
rules:
- apiGroups: ["", "extensions", "apps"]
  resources: ["*"]
  verbs: ["*"]
- apiGroups: ["batch"]
  resources:
  - jobs
  - cronjobs
  verbs: ["*"]

---
kind: RoleBinding
apiVersion: rbac.authorization.k8s.io/v1beta1
metadata:
  name: wordpress-user-view
  namespace: wordpress
subjects:
- kind: ServiceAccount
  name: wordpress-admin
  namespace: wordpress
roleRef:
  apiGroup: rbac.authorization.k8s.io
  kind: Role
  name: wordpress-admin-full-access

hak akses akan diberikan penuh untuk user wordpress-admin kedalam namespace wordpress.

  • Buat kubeconfig untuk mengakses dengan user tersebut.
#!/bin/bash
set -e
set -o pipefail

# Add user to k8s using service account, no RBAC (must create RBAC after this script)
if [[ -z "$1" ]] || [[ -z "$2" ]]; then
 echo "usage: $0 <service_account_name> <namespace>"
 exit 1

KUBECONFIG=${KUBECFG_FILE_NAME} kubectl get pods

jalankan dengan perintah

bash kubeconfig_generator.sh wordpress-admin wordpress
  • kubeconfig akan otomatis digenerate di folder /tmp/kube/. gunakan kubeconfig tersebut untuk mengakses cluster kubernetes.
